Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency makes 21 million decisions that affect people's lives and society as a whole. We disburse approximately 260 billion SEK each year. Decisions and Quality Assurance
As a decision-maker, you will decide on compensation within the benefits of Sickness and Activity Compensation. Those who investigate individual cases within the relevant benefit will provide proposals for decisions that you will quality assure. The decisions have a significant impact on citizens' security and livelihood. Therefore, you ensure that the decision you make is legally secure and understandable for the insured. In your role, you contribute to giving individuals the conditions to feel control and security in their contacts with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. Contact occurs via phone and in writing. As a decision-maker, you handle confidential information, which requires a higher standard of proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have a high security awareness.
You stay updated on the current legal situation and collaborate with, in addition to those investigating individual cases, specialists and insurance medical advisors, among others. You actively contribute to ensuring that investigators and local managers have the right competence to meet citizens' needs.
We are looking for someone who
- has a university degree or equivalent experience and qualifications
- acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
- can understand and analyze complex issues
- collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
- has good communication skills, both orally and in writing
- has worked in a government agency with qualified investigations and made decisions that have affected individuals.
It is meritorious if you
- have good competence and expertise within the relevant benefits
- have good knowledge of how to professionally meet people in difficult life situations.

A number of positions, permanent, full-time, with start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. Possibility for remote work exists if the job allows.
